Pub & Cottage
The Baker Arms is a quintessential Dorset village pub. The pub dates back to circa 1754 and has been called the Baker Arms since 1821. The pub is perfectly situated at the foot of Hambledon hill, an ancient hill fort in the heart of the countryside, perfect for walking & exploring.
Sit in front of our log burner in the winter, or enjoy our Beer Garden in the summer. We serve hand pulled local ales, wines & continental lagers.
We serve a freshly prepared, regularly changing menu with an emphasis on comfort food. We are passionate about cheaper cuts of meat which we like to cook low & slow. All our food is cooked to order from our small kitchen (with only 1 chef). We have a small capacity in our bar, so highly recommend booking a table. Our marquee with heaters is also available year round.
A few steps from the pub is Daisy Cottage. Our Self catering cottage is your 'Home away from Home' and is perfect for a business stay over, weekend break, for couples or families. We are dog friendly throughout the Pub & Cottage.
We look forward to welcoming you...
